Bell Choir

Reformation's Handbell choir was first organized in 1986 following the gift of 3 octaves of Schulmerich Handbells by Paula Kierle in memory of her parents, Rev. and Mrs. John U. Reininga.

The handbell choir rehearses each Wednesday evening from 5:45 to 6:30 p.m. (5:30 to 6:10 p.m. during Advent and Lent) with a break for the summer. The bells play for church about twice each month. New ringers are always welcome, as we currently are only using 2 octaves of our set. Talk with one of our members following a Sunday morning "performance" if you are interested. You don not need to be able to read music to play bells. We do have fun and have been known to disturb the confirmation class with our laughter.

The Handbell choir sponsors Easter Breakfast each year. Also, each Sunday we sell Krispy Kreme donuts between services with profits currently going toward the purchase of lighter tables for the parish hall. Eat up!
